Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — Lockport police arrested and charged six men Friday afternoon in connection with a fight in the city Tuesday.
Three brothers, Heston F. McClain, 28, 176 Park Ave., Upper, Elliott R. McClain, 34, 6289 Robinson Road, Apt. 3 and Jonathan M. McClain, 41, 7132 Ridgewood Drive were all charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree assault. Also charged in conjunction with the incident were Michael D. Enzinna, 34, 18 Harrison Ave., Antonius T. Melton, 28, 55 Elmwood Ave., Apt. 1 and Joseph A. Smith, 24, 165 Pine St., Apt. 1. All three were also charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree assault.
According to police, a report of a fight came in sometime on Tuesday evening on the 30 block of Heritage Court. When police arrived on the scene, one victim complained of head pain and was treated by the Lockport Fire Department before being transported to ENH-Lockport. At that time, the victim refused to sign a statement for police, and none of the parties involved would cooperate with the investigation, police said.
On Friday, several victims involved in the incident went to the Lockport Police Department and filed voluntary statements on what happened Tuesday, police said, leading to the roundup.
Two of the McClain brothers, Melton and Smith are due in city court Monday. Return to court dates were not listed for Enzinna and Jonathan McClain.
