Community services 'help book' published

Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — The Mental Health Association in Niagara County, Inc. is distributing the 28th edition of the Help Book, a phone directory of community services for residents of Niagara County.

The Help Book is a pocket-sized directory with listings organized by category, such as emergency phone numbers, children/youth, counseling, employment, family, food, legal issues, post offices, senior citizens and veterans. Many website links also are listed.

The Help Book is available for 25 cents. For a copy, callĀ 433-3780, any time between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. An online version is free and accessible at www.mhanc.com.

Information in the book can be accessed through the Help Line, a phone referral system that is staffed around-the-clock, at 433-5432.
