Olcott expects more than 1,000 classic cars for show

Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — “I’m a big Olds fan,” said Westbrook, a mechancial engineer. “I have three of them. The first one was a 1971 Cutlass convertible.”

The show features rare and original muscle cars, high end exotics, customs, tuners and race cars.

“We love them,” said Joan Wassinger who will enter a 1966 Mustang in robin egg blue. “Look at all the cars. Where have you ever seen so many beautiful cars.”

Cars can enter the park at 8 a.m. According to Joe Haniszewski, the show chairman, 250 cars can be registered in an hour.

“Come and enjoy the color and chrome along scenic Olcott Beach,” he said.
