The National Weather Service has put a winter storm warning into effect from 7 p.m. Friday evening until 7 p.m. Saturday.
Severe weather including blowing snow is expected in Niagara County and may make travel hazardous.
A windchill advisory is also in effect from midnight Saturday through noon Sunday.
Accumulations of three to six inches are expected, as well as winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
Windchill values as low as 20 below zero are expected for Saturday night and early Sunday.
