Lockport Union-Sun & Journal —
The National Weather Service for Buffalo has issued a special weather statement for Niagara County through this evening.
Strong winds gusting from 30 to 40 mph are expected to create blowing and drifting snow in open areas through early evening.
Narrow bands of lake effect snow will be found across Niagara Frontier from Buffalo northward. Visibility may be reduced to less than a quarter mile at times, especially in open areas.
NWS Buffalo warns that snow drifts will produce slippery and snow covered roads, especially on exit and entrance ramps.
