Egg hunt set for Saturday

LOCKPORT — The city Youth & Recreation Department’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Outwater Park.

Parents should pre-register their children at 1:30 p.m. at the park. Hunts are by age group: Two to 4 years old, 5 to 7 years old and 8 to 10 years old.

Children will be directed to collect three eggs only and return them unopened to their age-appropriate registration table to see if they won a prize.

Parents are asked to let the children retrieve the eggs themselves. They’re also asked to note the hunt is scheduled for the afternoon, not the morning as in years past.

Every child who participates in the hunt will receive a goody bag.

The Easter Bunny will visit the park at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Prizes have been donated by the Hickory Club, Mullane Motors, Dr. Louis Surace, Evans Insurance and R.J.’s Ice Cream.

For more information about the hunt, call program coordinator Kristin Bernardi at 434-3071.
