Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — A free, eight-hour boater safety course will be administered June 1 by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Marine Patrol Division.
Fifty seats are available for the course, which can convey a discount on boat insurance, depending on the boater’s policy.
The course will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 1 at the Niagara County Public Safety Training Facility, 5574 Niagara St. Ext., east of the sheriff’s office.
Reservations are required. Call 438-3346 to get a seat.
The course is hosted by state Assembly Member Jane Corwin, R-Clarence.
