GASPORT — This year's Fly In Breakfast at the Royalton Airport from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday June 24 has an added feature: Helicopter rides will be available, weather permitting.

The breakfast will feature the usual: All-you-can-eat pancakes, eggs, sausage, blueberry topping, coffee, milk, flavored milks and apple juice. The cost is $8 for an adult and $4 for a child aged 4 to 11 years (kids younger than 4 eat for free).

The airport is at the corner of Dale and Mackey roads. Take state Route 31 into Gasport and watch for the signs. There's plenty of free parking and a reserved area for handicapped attendees.

Members of the Gasport chapter of Order of the Eastern Star will be on site selling baked goods and local collector Cliff Green will display a sampling of his toy tractors and farm equipment. This year he's featuring other items than his usual John Deere collection.

Helicopter rides around the area will be available for a fee; entry is from the airport grounds.

The Fly In Breakfast is sponsored by the Gasport Masons to support the fraternity's annual scholarships presented to a senior boy and senior girl at Royalton Hartland Central School.

Eggs for the breakfast are donated by Kreher Family Farms. Dairy products are donated by Gasport View Dairy Farm.

Guests don't have to fly in. All are welcome by automobile, motorcycle, horseback, bicycle or ATV.
