This week, one of the world's favorite Broadway classics will be brought to life on stage at the Historic Palace Theatre, in the live musical production of "Singin' In The Rain!"

The show will be appearing at the Historic Palace Theatre stage from Thursday to July 22 with 7:30 p.m. Thursday to Saturday and 3 p.m. performances on Sunday.

Palace Marketing Director Lizzie Schratz says "this timeless musical is sure to be a unique and entertaining experience for the entire community to enjoy."

Under the direction of Christopher Parada, "Singin' In The Rain" makes a splash through creative staging, and extraordinary musical numbers developed by what producers call their talented and devoted cast and crew members.

Attendees can expect all their favorite songs from the original motion picture to be included, and brand new songs will be produced specifically for the live show. In addition to the songs and a memorable story, audiences will be wowed by the extraordinary dancing, costumes and new special effects, according to Schratz.

Choreographer Rheanna Gallego says "Everyone knows the story of 'Singin’ In The Rain,' but experiencing it live on the Palace stage is something truly spectacular.”

Tickets will be $25 for adults, $23 for seniors and $15 for veterans, students and children.

The Historic Palace Theatre is located in the heart of downtown. Built in 1925 by Charles Dickenson, the proscenium arch style space is well known as an architectural marvel of the city. The theatre is owned and operated by a non-profit organization, Historic Palace Inc.
