Kenmore police are investigating an incident Thursday evening involving a shotgun blast into a two-family home.
According to police, two white males in their 20s rang the doorbell of an apartment on Hoover Avenue. The downstairs tenant wasn’t home at the time, but the upstairs occupant was and came down. When he opened the door, the two men asked if “K” was there, Kenmore Police Chief Carl LaCorte said.
The resident said no and then spotted one of the men holding a shotgun. The occupant then ran upstairs to his apartment, locked himself in and called police. “As he was running upstairs, he heard the blast of a shotgun,” LaCorte said, adding that the suspects shot out a window.
