Robert J. Stanley, Jr.

MIDDLEPORT — Robert J. Stanley, Jr., of Middleport, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Medina, NY on September 15, 1973, son of Robert J. Stanley and Lynne (Bilicki) Chiarolanza, and he had lived in Middleport all of his life. He graduated from Royalton Hartland High School in l991 and he and his wife, Maranda L. (Andrews) Stanley, were married January 23, 1999 in Middleport.

He enjoyed his family, fishing, working out,   music of all kinds, camping and he enjoyed people, and was a free spirit.

He is survived by his wife, Maranda L. Stanley; two daughters, Shelbie A. Stanley and Zadie D. Stanley, both of Middleport; his parents, Robert J. (Jane) Stanley of Middleport; and Lynne (Guy) Chiarolanza of Medina; one brother and three sisters, Amanda (William) Grout of Texas; Jeremy (Kristy) Carr of Medina; Jamie (Dan) Capen of Middleport; and Stasia (Ben Capen) Stanley of Barker. Also surviving are his grandparents, Charles and Dorothy Baehr of Gasport; and several aunts, uncles, cousins; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tony and Danielle Gullo of Middleport; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Saturday from 1 to 4 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport, where funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Hartland Central Cemetery. Memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094, would be appreciated by the Stanley family.
