David Edward Rounds

LOCKPORT — David Edward Rounds entered into rest October 29, 2010 at the Niagara Hospice House. Born in Lockport on April 1, 1949, he was the son of Edward Rounds and Joan (John) Sopiak.

Dave worked at Delphi, retiring in 2002. He served in the US Army from 1969-1975. He bowled in the Midnight Bombers League, loved fishing, the casino and enjoyed helping his son start Elite Custom Masonry, Inc.

He married the former Kathleen Langendorfer on March 27, 1971 in Lockport. Beloved husband of Kathy Rounds; beloved father of Edward (Tammy) Rounds and Daniel (Karynne) Rounds; cherished grandfather of Mason and Alexis; dear brother of Patricia Fennessey of Maryland, Karen (Kenny) Skidmore, Beverley (Larry) Blaylock of Nevada and Timothy (MaryAnne) Sopiak; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from 3-7 PM at the Taylor & Reynolds Funeral Home, corner of Transit and Niagara Streets, where the funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorials to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
