Dorothy E. Uderitz

MEDINA —

Dorothy E. Uderitz, age 95, died on December 27, 2013 at Medina Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 19, 1918 in the Town of Clarkson, a daughter of the late Edward and Louise (Button) Quackenbush and had lived in the WNY area most of her life.
Dorothy had worked as a Manager for Stanley Home Products for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and loved going to the mountains.
She was predeceased by her husband, Theodore in 1998; her grandson, Scott Jedrosko; and her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Meleese Twichell of Ohio, Ronald (Cynthia) Uderitz of Wilson, Sharon (John) Jedrosko of Olean, Don (Janelle) Uderitz of Albion; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Flossie (Clifford) Plane of Pittsford, Arlene Gallo of San Diego CA; sister-in-law, Myra Quackenbush of Mumford NY; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 W. Ave., Albion, on Tuesday, December 31st from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, where her Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in Transit Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hillside Children's Foundation, PO Box 22844, Rochester NY 14692.
