Elmer W. Kelkenberg

LOCKPORT — Elmer W. Kelkenberg, of Lockport, NY, age 75, entered into rest October 25, 2012. Elmer was born in the Town of Newstead on March 28, 1937, the son of the late Dewey and Blanche        (nee Cummings) Kelkenberg.

He served in the U.S. Army and was a retired employee of Harrison Radiator Plant in              Lockport, NY.

Beloved husband of the late Jean W. (nee Aaron) Kelkenberg; loving father of Teresa (David)   Edmister of Lockport, NY; Wayne (Lissa Stewart) Kelkenberg of Lockport, NY; Lisa (Anthony) Jung of Wheatfield, NY; and James (Clara) Kelkenberg of Lockport, NY; cherished companion of Juanita Brown of Lockport, NY; brother of Nora Converso of Niagara Falls, NY; and the late Richard Kelkenberg; brother-in-law of Emily Kelkenberg of Newfane, NY; dearest grandfather of Daniel, David, Jennifer, Travis, Olivia, Kyle, Andrew and Lee.

The family will be present Sunday, October 28, 2012, from 4-8 PM to receive friends in the      BERNHARDT FUNERAL HOME, 130 Main St., Akron, NY, where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM. Burial in Pioneer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages expressions of sympathy to be made to the Wrights Corners Fire Co.
