Robert John Drankhan

LOCKPORT —  

Robert John Drankhan of Lockport, NY, beloved husband of Denise Drankhan, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at home. Born in Springville, NY on March 5, 1943, the son of the late Albert Drankhan, Sr.
Bob worked for NYS Thruway Authority for 32 years, retiring in 1998. He then drove bus for Ridge Road Express for five years. He also worked for Young's Explosives doing fireworks (Pyrotechnician). Bob loved people and talking to them. He loved his dog, Sheba, car cruises and showing his 1972 Ford Ranger that he restored himself.
Step-father of Wayne and Sharon Carter of Dallas, TX. Grandfather of Derik Drankhan. Special friend of Allan Yoder.
A Celebration of Life will be held on FRIDAY, April 12, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Community Fellowship, 3144 Johnson Creek Road, Middleport, NY 14105. Pastor Roy Harringer will officiate. Luncheon to follow. Donations to Niagara Hospice, 4165 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the family.
