Alyce Schafer

NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — Alyce (Odle) Schafer passed away on September 1, 2012 at Hernando Pasco Hospice, New Port Richey, FL. Born in Lockport on March 18, 1952 to the late Bernard and Catherine (Carlin) Odle.

Alyce was a 1970 graduate of Lockport Senior High School and upon graduation from Bryant & Stratton was employed by AT&T until her retirement.
Alyce is survived by her sisters, Shirley (late Peter) Wagner and Susan J. Odle; aunt and uncle, Robert and Ruth Odle; nieces, Nancy Fischer, Karen Lyons and Julie Banks; seven great-nieces and nephews, several cousins and close family friend, Margaret Zimmer.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass to be celebrated on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport, NY. Donations may be made to Saving Grace Animal Rescue, 10029 Freestone Lane, Port Richey, FL 34668, the caretaker of Alyce's beloved dog, Willow.
