Charles Edward Stout, Sr.

DIANA, WV —

Charles Edward Stout, Sr., 74, of Diana, WV, formerly of Gasport, passed away, suddenly, on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston WV. He was born to Cecil and Elsie (Marlow) Stout and worked at Simonds Saw & Steel for 24 years. An avid hunter and fisherman, Charles was known for his willingness to lend a hand to anyone. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, camping and the outdoors.
Charles is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nancy Ann (Quinn) Stout; his children, Charles (Peggy) Stout, Jr. of West Virginia, Thelma (Chris) Newton of Lockport, Timothy Stout of Barker, Pauline (David) Kent of Florida, Rebecca (Allen) Green of Lockport and Ruth (Daniel) Faiella of Florida. Also survived by brothers, Bernard Stout, Roger (Julia) Stout, Gary (Jacqueline) Stout, Richard (Georgia) Stout; and sisters, Carroll Davis, Frances Stout, and Cecilia (Eric) Hornung, all of West Virginia. He has eighteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by daughters, Judith Stout and Maycle Bowes; sister, Mary Eubank; brothers, Carl Stout and Kenneth Stout.
Services held on September 21, 2013 at Dodd & Reed Funeral Home in Webster Springs, WV. Burial at convenience of family.
