FREDERICK, MD —

She acquired her chauffeur's license and drove young people with disabilities from Lockport to school in Buffalo and back. Later she earned her real estate license and a degree in accounting from Bryant and Stratton College which greatly helped her with her husband's business, S.M. Pynn and Sons Plumbing and Heating. She was the controller for the Kenan Center for 13 years, retiring in 1983. While living in Lockport, she was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Christ Episcopal Church, Zonta Club and Lockport Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star. She moved to Florida in 1984 where she enjoyed collecting Hummels, sewing, golfing and dancing. In 2009, she moved to an assisted living facility in Maryland to be closer to her youngest daughter. There she enjoyed singing karaoke and attending musical programs.
Wife of the late Spencer M. Pynn, Leonard R. Simms and Albert J. Stapf. She is survived by her children, Nelia Pynn of Fairport, NY, David (Patricia) Pynn of Gasport, NY, Spencer L. John (Marilynn) Meyers, William (Joan) Meyers and Franklin (Andre) Meyers; and many nieces and nephews.
