Richard L. Daigler

TAMPA, FL —

Richard L. Daigler, 70, of Tampa, FL, passed away on September 21, 2013. He graduated from DeSales Catholic High School in Lockport, NY, in 1962. Mr. Daigler also graduated from Ft. Lauderdale University with a B.A. Degree in Accounting. He was past president and educational vice president of Carrollwood Toastmasters Club. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Tampa and Catechist Teacher for twenty years, and a Eucharistic Minister. In retirement, he was a mathematics tutor of two children whom he was most proud of. He proudly served his country in the army during the Vietnam conflict.
Mr. Daigler was preceded in death by his father, Richard O. Daigler; and brother, Dennis Daigler. He is survived by his mother, Mary (Dutcher) Magin; sons, Joseph Leo, Richard Anthony (Dixie); granddaughter, Della; sister, Kathleen (Samuel) Schrift; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 27th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Tampa, with interment in Bushnell National Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Joseph's Tuition Fund, 2200 Gomez Ave, Tampa, Florida 33607.
