Ethel L. Lee

LOCKPORT — Ethel L. Lee, of Lockport, wife of the late Thomas H. Lee, entered into rest on Friday,          October 4, 2013 in Elderwood Health Care at Oakwood. Ethel was born in Cowen, WV on May 16, 1924, daughter of the late Orville and Nancy Hammonds Bess. They moved to Lockport in 1956 from Richwood, WV. Ethel worked at Harrison Radiator in Lockport, NY for 30 years. She attended Amherst Alliance Church and loved crocheting baby items for donations to local         hospitals.

Mother of Thomas M. (Virginia) Lee of Lockport, NY, Phyllis (Tom) Ranney of Dillsburg, PA, Nancy (Philip) Graham of Churchville, NY, George O. (Lois) Lee of Brockport, NY, Gary (Kathy) Lee of Lockport, NY, and Karen L. (Douglas) Bartlett of Marcellus, NY. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by several siblings.

Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY 14108, on MONDAY 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held TUESDAY at 11:00 AM at Lockport Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 555 Davison Rd., Lockport, NY 14094. Burial will be held in Acacia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Gideon International Bible at www.gideons.org.
