Richard "Murph" Procknal

WILLIAMSVILLE — Richard "Murph" Procknal entered into rest December 16, 2013, at the age of 81, after a brief illness.

Beloved husband of Constance (nee Peters); cherished father of Cathy DiChiara (Michael Quigley), Carole (Jeffrey) Hulshoff, Mark (Donna) Procknal; proud grandfather of Jessica (Kevin), Jared (Meaghan), Bradley Hulshoff, Candace DiChiara, Amanda and Rick Procknal.

"Murph" was the youngest of 15 children. He graduated from Canisius College and was a retired Buffalo fireman and insurance agent. He loved sports and attending all of his grandchildren's games.  

The family will receive relatives and friends following a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 200 St. Gregory Court (off Maple Rd.), Williamsville, NY on Saturday, December 21, 2013, at 9:00 AM. Memorials may be made to Sisters of Mercy, 625 Abbott Rd., Buffalo, or a charity of your choice.
