Debra Jean August

LOCKPORT —  

Debra Jean August entered into rest on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Roswell Cancer Institute. She was born in Medina, NY, on May 21, 1963 to the beloved late James Thomas McKeever and Catherine Jane Fields-Harmony of Lockport, NY.
Debra attended local schools and worked as a clerk for Tops. She enjoyed bingo, cards, and spending time with family. She was a member of The Ladies Auxiliary Fire Dept. in North Tonawanda.
Debra is survived by her son, Adam Shawn Belcher of Caldwell, NC; sisters, Patricia Bunny (Clarence) Stoddard of Pendleton, NY, Nancy (Steve) Hummel of St. Louis, MO, and Kathy McKeever of Lockport, NY; nieces, Tracey Stoddard of Pendleton, NY, Joni and Christy Hummel of St. Louis, MO; nephews, Scott Stoddard of Pendleton, NY, John (Latisha) Chandler of Lockport, NY, and Mathew (Jessie Wolfe) Stoddard of Niagara Falls, NY. She is also survived by several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Friends and relatives may visit on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 4-7 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7 PM at the Ross Funeral Home Gaul Chapel, 263 East Avenue, Lockport, NY. Donations to Roswell Park Cancer Institute would be appreciated by the family.
