Laura J. Blaner

LOCKPORT — Laura J. Blaner entered into rest October 15, 2012, at home, under the care of Hospice. Born March 17, 1956, she was the daughter of Joseph and Regina (Zera) Blaner.

Laura retired as a purchasing agent at Roswell Park, after 36 years. She was an avid bowler and golfer, and belonged to several organizations in Lockport. She loved her animals, especially Mooch.

She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Zera; her nephews, Ken Zera, Jr. and Shawn (Karen) Zera; and her niece, Sandy (Mike) Johnston, all of PA. She was dear friends of Janie, April, Ron and many others.

Relatives and friends may call from 1-2 PM on Saturday at the Taylor & Reynolds Funeral Home, corner of Transit and Niagara Streets, where the memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorials to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
