LOCKPORT — June Marie Wolentarski, 55, passed into the Lord's hands on February 18, 2012. Born in Buffalo on July 2, 1956, she called Barker home for nearly 30 years. June was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Helen (Kwiatkowska) Obermiller.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald; son, Christopher; daughter, Holly (David) Ward; daughter-in-law, Brande Bartlemus; grandchildren, Kelton, Darian, Tony, Logan, Baily and Brooke; sister of Julie Obermiller, Patrick (Mary Ann) Obermiller and the late Michael Obermiller; Godmother to Melissa; aunt to Erica, Tricia and Matt, and Tracy and great-aunt to Jayson. She will be sadly missed by her canine companion, Storm; and many friends who lifted their hearts in prayer for her.

She loved the country life and trips to the Farmers Market, and especially her favorite coffee stool at Thee Barker Store. She was a member of The Barker Seniors.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Tuesday at Rutland Corwin Funeral Home, Inc., 1708 Pallister Ave. in Barker. Services will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Parish (St. Patrick's Site, 1726 Quaker Road in Barker at 11 AM on Wednesday. A bereavement luncheon will follow. Burial at a later date, following cremation.

June had a lifetime of doctors and obstacles but her heart was strong. She lost her second battle with cancer in a brief, courageous fight. Memorials to the American Cancer Society Relay For Life in Lockport would be appreciated. June proudly wore her sash in the Survivor's lap last year, and will be remembered at the 2012 RFL with glowing luminaria honoring her life.
