Judith A. Moreland Schultz

RANSOMVILLE —

Judith A. Moreland Schultz, cherished mother of Julie Schultz Jessee (Scott) of Charlottesville, VA, Greta Schultz Briody (J. Thomas) of San Francisco, CA and Kurt Schultz of Wilson, NY; dearest mother-in-law of Cynthia Tudor Schultz of Lockport, NY; much loved grandmother of Eberle Rae Schultz, Hayley Tudor Schultz Patterson (Daniel), Casey Mark Schultz, Patrick James and Elizabeth Ann Briody, and Samantha Cross Jessee; sister of Donald P. Moreland (Dorothy). Predeceased by beloved husband, Elmer "Pete" Schultz; daughter, Amy Elizabeth; and brother, Charles F. Moreland.
Born in Buffalo, NY in 1934, Judith was a graduate of Gowanda High School, Class of 1951. She then went on to the Buffalo General School of Nursing, graduating in 1954. Judy's nursing career started in the ER Department of
Kenmore Mercy Hospital in the mid 1950's. Her career continued at the Briody Health Care Facility in the early 1970's, where she retired in 1995 in the position of Director of Nursing. Judy was a woman of great wisdom, incredible strength, and one who loved all things of beauty. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Donations in her honor may be made to the Nursing Education Scholarship Fund at the Briody Health Care Facility. Arrangements have been entrusted to the HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, Ransomville, NY.
