Maureen D. Robison

LOCKPORT —  

Maureen D. Robison of Lockport, wife of Charles Robison, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Eastern Niagara Hospital Lockport, NY. Maureen was born in Lockport on February 12, 1937. Daughter of Joseph and Kathryn Barnwell Murphy.
Maureen worked as an operator at N.Y. Telephone in Lockport for 40 years. Maureen enjoyed playing cards, baking, traveling, sewing. She loved spending time with her grandkids and family. Maureen also volunteered for the Dale Association.
Mother of Patti Kramer of Olcott, Shawn Robison of Newfane, Kelly Williams of Newfane and Mary Jo (Fred) Myers of Newfane. Sister of Patricia Drury of Florida, Joleen Brewer of Lockport and the late Paul and Robert Murphy. Grandmother of Courtney and Corey Kramer, Erin (David) Upton, Miles Robison, Matthew (Shannon) Williams, Cole and Evan Myers. Mother-in-law of Janet (Brian) Fitch of Newfane. Dearest friend of Barb Sheehan.
Friends may call at the RUTLAND-CORWIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2670 Main St., Newfane, NY 14108 on SATURDAY from 2-4 PM, where a funeral service will be held at 4 PM. The family would like to acknowledge the excellent care and loving support that Maureen received from the Odd Fellows and Rebekah Home staff during the last few years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 2805 Wehrle Dr., Buffalo, NY 14221.
