Edward J. Pytko

BUFFALO — Edward J. Pytko passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013, in Buffalo General Hospital. Born in Lockport on September 13, 1925, in Lockport, he was the son of the late Leo and Anna Wanter Pytko.  Edward served in the US Army from 1945 until 1946. He worked for 47 years at the Ford Gum & Machine Co., in Akron, NY, retiring in 1997 as plant manager.

Edward is survived by his wife of 53 years, Barbara (nee Conley) Pytko of Lockport. He was predeceased by his brother, Walter Pytko. Edward was the brother-in-law of Richard (Sally) Conley, Eugene (Connie) Conley, all of Lockport, Carol (Dwight) Sossong and Bonita (Dale) Waderich, both of Rochester, and the late William Conley, Raymond Conley and Marilyn Sobieraski. He is also survived several nieces and nephews and his companion, Zoey.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
