Thomas Charles Magin

LOCKPORT — Thomas Charles Magin passed away Monday, November 26, 2012. He was born January 20, 1941 in East Aurora to Elizabeth and Charles Magin. He was a graduate of DeSales High School and Niagara County Community College; and worked in the sales department at Harrison Radiator and then at Niagara Development. Tom was a member of the Elks, and had also loved his summer home in the Thousand Islands.

He is survived by his wife, Michaeleen (Ainsworth) Magin; daughter, Margaret (Magin) Rising and son-in-law, Steven Rising of Lockport; daughter, Amy (Magin) Wong and son-in-law,     Ricardo Wong of Wilmington, MA; and also his beloved "five perfect grandchildren" - Gena and Stevie Rising; and Brandon, Christopher and Cara Wong. He was the brother of Mary (Jim) Delaney of Lockport; Jim (the late Suzanne) Magin of Williamsville; and Suzanne Donovan; and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Tom suffered from a rare form of cancer and has donated his body for research to the University of Buffalo. No calling hours, but there will be a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Niagara Hospice.
