Michaelene Patricia Llewellyn

WEST GROVE, PA — Michaelene Patricia Llewellyn, age 65, of West Grove, PA, died Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in West Grove. Born in Angola, IN, she was a daughter of the late Thomas E. and the late Regina (Socoloski) Llewellyn. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, many types of music, travel, was an avid reader, and was an expert at needlepoint and crochet. Among the greatest of joys in her life were her nieces and nephews, whom she spent much time with and whom she doted on. Michaelene had a varied and rigorous career as a nurse, working in cardiac and intensive care, as well as in clinical research as a professional in both academia and industry. She was known to family, friends and colleagues for her kind heart and endless generosity. Her cheerful, positive spirit impacted and inspired many. She will be sadly missed and remembered with much love and affection.

Survivors include one brother, William and his wife, Karen, of San Jose, CA; two sisters, Kathleen and her husband, Jeffrey, of St. Louis, MO and Laura of West Grove, PA, and six nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Steven, in 1971.

You are invited to visit with Michaelene's family and friends from 1-2 PM Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Foulk & Grieco Funeral Home (610-869-2685), 200 Rose Hill Rd., West Grove, PA 19390. Her life celebration service will follow at 2 PM. Interment will be held at a later date in Lockport, NY.
