MEDINA — Mrs. Marion L. George, of Medina, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at the Medina Memorial Hospital.

She moved quietly ministering with a smile and helping hand. In addition to home, farm and church, she found time to volunteer and enjoyed her association with craft groups.

Survivors include four children, Roger (Kathie) George, Dennis (Lisa) George, Sam (Sue Ann) George and Debbie George Crandall; 15 grandchildren,15 great-grandchildren, two great-great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband on Feb. 12, 2009; and three sisters, Christine, Margaret and Junie. In her final years, her special companions were her kitties, Mama Kitty and Deedles.

Friends may call on Monday (3-5, 7-9) at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11AM. The Rev. Alfreda E.S. Morse will officiate and interment will be in West Ridgeway Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Medina.
