Elaine G. Kubatek

MEDINA —

Elaine G. Kubatek, 68, of Medina, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at the Medina Memorial Hospital. Born on August 16, 1945 in Medina, NY, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Gladys (Barnard) Jarvis. Elaine graduated from Medina High School and worked most of her life at Harrison Radiator. She enjoyed gardening, animals and baking.
Elaine is survived by a daughter, Brenda (Dale) Phillips; two grandchildren, Kara and Tyler Froman; and a great-granddaughter, Keira Rider, all of Medina; a sister, Sue (Edward) Strathearn of Wyoming, NY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by a sister, Joan Arnold Vendetta.
Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 11 AM - 1 PM at the Bates & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St., Medina, NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Daniel Thurber officiating. Burial will be in the spring at the family's convenience. Memorials may be made in Elaine's name to American Cancer Society, 101 John James Audubon Pkwy., Amherst, NY 14228 or to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd. Fairport, NY 14450.
