Donald S. Morreale

LOCKPORT — Donald S. Morreale passed away Saturday, February 15, 2014 in Niagara Hospice House. Born August 8, 1947, he was the son of the late Stephen and Anne Cacioppo Morreale. Donald graduated Lockport High School, Class of 1965 and from the University of Dayton, with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and worked at Maritime College as clerk in the bookstore and was manager at Barnes & Noble in NYC. He enjoyed reading, photography and the many times he went to the Kentucky Derby.

Donald is survived by his brother, Martin (Jacquelyn) Morreale of Lockport; uncle of Matthew (Danielle) Morreale and Christianne (JJ Romano) and great-uncle of Dominick, Alexis, Ethan and Greyson; nephew of Pauline Bane and Beatrice Cacioppo. Donald is also survived by his special friend, Julie and her daughter, Lily, who he treated as his daughter.

Friends may call Wednesday 3 to 6 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport, followed immediately by a funeral service at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers,         memorials to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094, would be appreciated by the family.
