Betty J. Korff

LOCKPORT — Betty J. Korff passed away on September 1, 2013.

Betty was born on July 29, 1924, in Middleport, NY.

She is survived by her brother, Charles Pomeroy of Gasport, NY; sons, Bill (Pam) Korff of Gold Hill, NC, Steve Korff of Lehigh Acres, FL, and Tim (Jan) Korff of Oviedo, FL; daughters, Judith Korff of Randolph, NY and Patricia Pendarvis of LaBelle, FL; grandchildren, Julia Yarbrough, Richard Korff, Christopher Korff, Katherine Korff, Marquette Korff, Jeff Pendarvis, Eric Korff, Jesse Korff and Alex Korff; several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Korff; sister, Gert VanBuren and daughter, Debra Korff.  

Betty was an accomplished organist known as "Liz on the Lowry" in the Lockport area, providing dinner music for many followers and patrons in the 1970s. She had been retired for many years from United Telephone System.

Graveside services will be held at Glenwood Cemetery at 11AM on Wednesday, September 18th.
