Matthew R. Jozwiak

LOCKPORT/ALBION — Matthew R. Jozwiak, age 54, of Ridgewood Drive and formerly of Albion, died suddenly June 12, 2013 in Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport. He was born June 2, 1959 in Albion to John and Jean (Levandowski) Jozwiak and had lived in the Lockport area for the past five years.

Matthew was a member of Holy Family Parish, the St. Mary's Athletic Club and enjoyed fishing, boating and Antique Tractor pulls. Mr. Jozwiak will be remembered as "Mr. Fix-it" because he was always tinkering with something.  

He is survived by his wife of two years, Vicki Williams; his son, Adam Jozwiak and his daughter, Angela Jozwiak, both of Lockport; his step-daughter, Kristina Chenault of Lockport; brother, Gene Gunter of Oakfield; his mother, Jean Jozwiak of Albion; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Avenue, Albion, FRIDAY 4-7 PM. Family and friends are invited to attend Matthew's Mass of Christian Burial SATURDAY at 10:30 AM in Holy Family Parish, Albion. Interment will be in        Hartland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brockport Fire Department.
