Janet C. Kitcho

SANBORN —

Janet C. Kitcho, of Sanborn, NY, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013, in Kenmore Mercy Hospital. She was born in Muncton, New Brunswick on June 25, 1926, the daughter of the late Robert and Jenny Mae (Ward) Sullivan.  Mrs. Kitcho came to Niagara Falls, NY in 1939. She was a secretary at Moore Business Forms for over 20 years, before retiring in 1991. Mrs. Kitcho was a former member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church at Walmore, where she sang in the Church choir. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed reading, camping, listening to music, singing and doing crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Kitcho was the wife of the late George M. Kitcho, who died in August of 2007. She is survived by four sons, Michael (Linda) Kitcho of North Tonawanda, Gary (Jenelle) Kitcho, James Kitcho, both of Sanborn and Phillip (Lisa) Kitcho of Wilson; four daughters, Linda (Anthony) Giannone of Niagara Falls, Catherine (Edward) Luzak of Burt, Jana (Scott) Keough of Niagara Falls and Lori (Willie) Wilson of Sanborn; a son-in-law, Grant Wolcott. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kitcho was the mother of the late Sheila Wolcott; and sister of the late Mildred Coram.
The family will be present on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at the RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 5893 Hoover Road, SANBORN, NY, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Ronald A. Haefer officiating. Memorials may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association. Interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.
