J. Douglas Gardner

LOCKPORT —

J. Douglas Gardner passed away on December 24, 2013 in Buffalo General Medical Center. Born in Buffalo on April 12, 1936, he was the son of Joseph and Lorraine (Haller) Gardner.
Douglas served in the US Army from 1955 to 1958. He worked as an electronic technician for Sierra Research in Cheektowaga until they closed then he went to work for Moog in East Aurora. He enjoyed slot car racing.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Louise (Tagg) Gardner of Lockport; father of Douglas Gardner of Lockport and Marcia Mueller of North Tonawanda; grandfather of Brian Gardner of Lockport and Emily Mueller of North Tonawanda. Also close family friend, Joyce Burshtynsky.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 1 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
