Norma G. Raymondjack

MEDINA — Mrs. Norma G. Raymondjack, of Medina, passed away on Tuesday morning, June 11, 2013, at the Medina Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Raymondjack was born in Lyndonville, February 9, 1927, a daughter of the late Frederick and Rena (Martin) Goetze. A graduate of Lyndonville High School and Niagara  Community College, Mrs. Raymondjack was employed by the Medina Memorial Hospital, as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, for 32 years.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, the DAR and volunteered with Girl Scouts of America. She enjoyed flower gardening, summers at her cottage on Lake Ontario, crocheting, knitting and sewing. She volunteered at the Medicine Shop for many years taking blood pressures.

Survivors include her daughter, Diane R. Powell; her granddaughter, Ashley Bachman; grandson, Jordan Powell; brother, Charles Goetze; sister, Shirley Baun; several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Louis E. Raymondjack on August 10, 2008; two sisters, Edna Hamm and Marian Hamm; and two brothers, David and Dewey Goetze.

Friends may call on Saturday 9:30-10:30 AM at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. The Rev. Daniel J. Fawls will celebrate her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11AM at Holy Trinity Parish/St. Mary's Church and interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to PAWS.
