LOCKPORT — Sandra "Sandy" J. Berzer passed away February 25, 2014, after a long illness. Born in Buffalo on July 9, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Julia (Juiliano) Naples. Sandy worked for St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church in Getzville where she was an administrative assistant for 15 years. She enjoyed Country music and had a special affinity for Blake Shelton. She was a member of the Ladies of Charity and Altar & Rosary Society at St. Pius X. Sandy was lovingly called "Sandy Beach" by her brother Rick and sisters, Barbara, Julie and Cher, and was also referred to as their VOR (Voice Of Reason).  Sandy's daughter, Mandy Berzer-Grzegorczak, referred to her mom as "Chick-A-Dee" and together they watched many Sabres games. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Berzer in 1998.

Sandy is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Michael) Grzegorczak of Lancaster, NY; sister of Richard (Kathleen) Naples of Coca, FL, Barbara (Dayson) Kendrick of Lawrenceville, GA, Juliana Naples of Lockport, and Cheryl Naples of Lockport; also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
