Jo Ann Rader

LOCKPORT —  

Jo Ann Rader passed away on December 26, 2012 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Newfane. Born in Curwensville, PA, on June 12, 1936, she was the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Reid) Rapp.
Jo Ann was a clerk at the OTB for 10 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member IOOB Club. She is predeceased by her husbands, Wallace L. Rader, who passed away in 1981 and Thomas L. Balling, who passed away in 1999.
Jo Ann is survived by her daughter, Wendy (Rusty) McKay of Newfane; grandmother of Shane, Jenelle and Jessica McKay. Beside her husbands, Jo Ann is predeceased by her siblings, John Rapp, Reid Rapp, Esther Rapp Russell, William Rapp and Dorothy "Chic" Johns. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Sunday from 1-5 PM in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport,where services will be held on Monday morning at 11 AM.
