Audrey J. Jacobs

MIDDLEPORT —  

Audrey J. Jacobs of Middleport, died peacefully on December 30, 2012 at the Briody Healthcare Facility with her loving family by her side. Mrs. Jacobs was born in Lockport, NY, on October 14, 1933 daughter of the late Harold and Evelyn (Meyers) Sy.
Mrs. Jacobs was a homemaker who has lived in Middleport since 1993 before that she had resided in Gasport. She enjoyed her family, crocheting, knitting and watching her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Rowland H. Jacobs; three sons, James (Maryellen) Jacobs of Middleport, Jeff (Darcy) Jacobs of Newfane and Gerald "Jake" (Roxanne) Jacobs of Middleport; four grandchildren, Christopher Jacobs, Brianna Jacobs, Ciara Jacobs and Andrew Jacobs, all of Middleport and one great-grandson, Logan. Also surviving is a sister Nancy (Norm) Zobel of Amherst; and a brother, Roland (Nancy) Sy of Lockport.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7 PM at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport where a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials to Niagara Hospice 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094 would be appreciated by the Jacobs family.
