Bertha "Betty" Lane

LOCKPORT —  

Bertha "Betty" Lane went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 10, 
2013. Born in Brooklyn, NY, on March 1, 1925. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Rev. 
Harold E. Lane. Together they served churches with the Christian and Missionary Alliance for 
over 40 years. She and her husband served the Lockport Alliance Church from 1964 to 1974. 
Betty loved her family, her friends, her church and most of all, her God. She was passionate 
about prayer and missions.
She is survived by three children, Arlene (David) Sluyter, William (Sonya) Lane, Larry (Carol) 
Lane;  a sister, Jeanette Rees and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, 
great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on April 6, 2013 at 10 AM at the Lockport Alliance Church, 
555 Davison Rd., Lockport, NY. Memorials may be made to Lockport Alliance Church.
