LOCKPORT —

John A. Haehl passed away on November 8, 2012 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport.  Born on October 1, 1946 in Buffalo, he was the son of Walter and Pearl (Redman) Haehl.
John served in the US Army from 1966 to 1968 earning the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He worked as a process engineer for Harrison Radiator. John was a member of the F&AM Lodge 0375, Past Master of Niagara Lodge 0375, member of Royal Arch Masons, Tonawanda Keystone, Chapter #71, Masonic War Veterans Niagara Frontier Post #10, Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 617, Lockport, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, member of VFW 2535, Lockport and also the Dale Association.
John is survived by his wife, Cheryle (Enoch) Haehl of Lockport; brother of James (Angie) Haehl of Lockport, Jeannine (Carl) Nowicki of Florida, and Bonnie (Donald) Luderman of Alden, NY. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, November 11th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport.
