Margery S. Cornell Gatley

DUNSTABLE, MA — Margery S. Cornell Gatley, age 89, formerly of Ransomville, died Sunday, September 8, 2013 in Dunstable, MA, after a brief illness.

Margery was born March 8, 1924 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Howard and Bessie (Truesdale) Carter and was a 1942 graduate of Youngstown High School. She was a former member of the Ransomville Baptist Church and a former member of the Order of Eastern Star #374 in Ransomville.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin Gatley and Raymond C. Cornell. She was the dear mother of Wayne (Linda) Cornell and Jacquelyn (Rosario) Nicosia; loving grandmother of Jamie (Sarah) Kline and, Brian (Mary Ann) Kline; great-grandmother of Jayson Kline. She was predeceased by a brother, Stewart Carter and a twin sister.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, September 21, at 11:00 AM in the North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd., Town of Cambria, with the Rev. Richard Gorrow officiating. There will be no prior visitation. Memorials may be made to the Ransomville Baptist Church, PO Box 96,      Ransomville, NY 14131, or to the Town of Porter Historical Society, 240 Lockport St., Youngstown, NY 14174. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Rd., Ransomville, NY.
