Ronald G. Green, Sr.

LOCKPORT —

Ronald G. Green, Sr. of Lockport, entered into rest on Sunday, September 29, 2013. Born on March 13, 1947 in Buffalo, he was the son of the late George A. and Ruth (Dams) Green.
Ron worked for the Lockport City School District for 30 years. He was an avid Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees fan, and enjoyed traveling, antiquing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Ron married Elizabeth J. Cipolla on October 19, 1968.
In addition to his wife, he was the father of Laurie (Patrick) Craig of New York City, Cindy (Kevin) Gersch of Marietta, GA and Ronald G. (Merry Lyn) Green, Jr. of Lancaster, NY. Grandfather of Emma, Hannah, Colin, Noah, Julian, Avery, Lilian and Logan; brother of Kathy Colletta of Williamsville, Sharon (William) Sample of Ashland, OH, Charlotte Evertt of Amherst and Ralph (Jackie) Green of Maryland. Also survived by relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 PM at Taylor and Reynolds Funeral Home, corner of Transit and Niagara Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at All Saints Parish Oratory (St. Joseph's Church) 391 Market St. on Friday morning at 10 AM. (PLEASE ASSEMBLE AT CHURCH). Entombment Glenwood Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron's name to the woundedwarriorsproject.org would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements by Provenzano Memorial Chapel, Mark C. Provenzano, director.
