Florence K. Bucolo

LOCKPORT — Florence K. Bucolo, of Lockport, entered into rest Thursday, October 10, 2013. Born February 8, 1935 in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Zaleski Kopacz.

Florence worked at Harrison Radiator for 30 years, retiring in 1998. She was also an Avon lady for 48 years. Florence was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and also volunteered at the Outreach Center. She was an avid Bills and Notre Dame fan, enjoyed reading and attending her grandchildren's functions.

Florence's husband, James Bucolo, passed away December 29, 2004.

Mother of James (Terri) Bucolo of Middleport, Mary Ann (Ernest) Scales of Lockport, Cathleen (David) Fraass of Pendleton, and Caren Kush of Lockport. Nana of Matalyn Bucolo, Braden and Evan Scales, Joshua, Nicholas and Jaimie Fraass, Cayleigh and Emily Kush. Sister of Lawrence (Carol) Kopacz, Caroline (David) Pietrkiewicz and Anne (Jay) Punaro. Dear friend of Bill Smith. Also survived by relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends may call Monday from 4-8 PM at Taylor & Reynolds Funeral Home, 70 Niagara St., at Transit. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church, 168 Chestnut St., on Tuesday morning at 10 AM. (Please assemble at church.) Entombment, Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Donations in Florence's memory to DeSales Catholic School, 6914 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Lockport, NY 14094, would be            appreciated by the family. Arrangements by Provenzano Memorial Chapel, Mark C.         Provenzano, Director.
