Marion L. Rivers

LOCKPORT —

Marion L. Rivers passed away surrounded by family at Eastern Niagara Hospital. She was born in Plattsburg, NY, to the late Leon and Marie (Irwin) Trombley.
Marion, wife of the late Louis Rivers, Sr., worked as a technician at Lockport Optical. She was a member of the Redman Club, Navy Marine, American Legion and the Old Bastards Club. She enjoyed arts and crafts, bowling, but mostly loved the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her children, Leon (Debbie) Rivers  of West Seneca, Earl Rivers of Lockport, Louis Rivers, Jr. of Lockport, Eirik Rivers of Florida, Lester Rivers of Lockport, Tina (Michael) Holmes of Lockport; and significant other Ronald Kennedy. Marion is also survived by a sister, Marie Maggie of Plattsburg; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Monday, October 21st from 2-4 PM with a Funeral Service beginning at 7 PM at the Ross Funeral Home Gaul Chapel, 263 East Ave., Lockport. Burial will be private. Donations to Niagara Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
