Richard H. Futch

ASHVILLE —

Richard H. Futch, born on February 9, 1945 in Lockport, NY, died on September 3, 2013 in Buffalo, NY. Richard was in the U.S. Army, stationed in Germany. He worked for 35 years at Harrison Radiator Div. of GMC (Delphi).
Beloved husband of Bernadette (nee Zubek) Futch; dearest father of Danica Futch; stepfather of Brendon (Amy) Zubek; loving grandfather of Jennifer (Brian) Emel, Scott Criswell (Clarissa Breloff), Stacy Criswell (Dan Cronk), Brandi Ellnor, Matthew Ellnor, Bradley Zubek and Mya Zubek; great-grandfather of Adrien, Lilly, and Brea Emel and Grace Criswell; brother of Roberta (Clarence) Anderson and the late Barbara Salinas. He also leaves behind his former wife, Joanne Futch, his tail-wagging companion, Cookie; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will be present to receive relatives and friends on Saturday, September 7, 2013 from 9-11 AM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5090 Transit Rd. (south of Como Park Blvd.), where funeral services will follow visitation at 11 AM. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society for Brain Cancer Research.
