John E. Russell

LOCKPORT —

John E. Russell entered into rest on June 12, 2013 at the Niagara Hospice House. Born on December 13, 1931 in Niagara Falls, he was the son of Edward J and Eltha (Deill) Russell. John retired from Harrison Radiator and was an avid golfer.
He was predeceased by his wife, Bessie Country Butcher Russell. He is the beloved father of Cynthia (William) Barnard of Gasport, Susan (Ronald) Fogle, Terri Garrod of North Carolina, Melody Hoover, Bonnie Benton of Texas and the late John Russell, Jr. and Judith Ander; step-father of James Butcher of Arizona and Frank (Karen) Butcher; brother of Barbara (Donald) Dillon of Connecticut; grandfather of Michael J. Fogle of Japan and John Garrod of Arizona and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be no prior visitation. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the TAYLOR & REYNOLDS Funeral Home, corner of Transit and Niagara Streets. Memorials to Niagara Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
