David E. Gers

THE COLONY, TX — David peacefully passed away on June 1, 2013 in The Colony, TX. Born on April 20, 1943 in    Schenectady, NY, he was the son of the late Bernard F. and Erna J. (Aggen).

David was a US Navy veteran and a long-time resident in Barker, NY, and was employed at     Monroe Electronics in Lyndonville for 20 years. He was also an avid caver and geocacher better known as Geo Dee, having cached a record amount of over 27,000 caches.

He was predeceased by a sister, Donna Graham. David is survived by a daughter, Lia (Michael) Dellario; three sons, Robert (Crystal), David and Steven (Cat); six grandchildren; two sisters, Linda VanEpps and Kathy Petrucco; and many nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held for him in Schenectady by the family.
