Daniel S. Salvatore

NEWFANE — Daniel S. Salvatore, 51, of Appleton, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at ENH in Newfane, NY.

Born January 4, 1962 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Benjamin Salvatore and    Gynette Penvose.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Salvatore; a brother, Jeffrey Salvatore of Lewiston, NY; two sisters, Judith (Paul) Truesdell of Wilson, NY and Amy (Michael) Wall of Ransomville, NY.

Dan was employed as a mechanic for the Niagara Frontier Country Club in Youngstown, NY. He had an amazing ability to make things run again; he could fix almost anything. From the time he was a young boy he could be found taking something apart just to see how it worked.

Dan enjoyed wood working, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling and country living.

Memorial donations to Roswell Park Cancer Institute or the U.B. Foundation Anatomical Gift Program, SUNY of Buffalo, would be greatly appreciated.

Dan was a strong willed man who gave cancer a tough fight. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held at the family's convenience.
